Kit Setup

“BDC with their attention to detail, love of the art of making drums and unrivalled craftsmanship is second to none. Detail to me is everything and these are truly beautiful drums that look ultra cool and sound incredible. I play a real wide variety of styles and I need a kit that can cut through on a rock/pop/funk gig but have the tone and sensitivity I need for playing jazz . I chose the Legend series, birch shells that resonant with enough sustain but are controllable when close micing is required both on larger stages and in the studio. I have chosen the Sterling Silver finish - a modern twist on what feels like a classic finish.”.

“The Bluebird is everything I could ask for in a snare. It has the sensitivity I require for clean execution of patterns across a wide dynamic range.  It sounds great when tuned hi or low, and really cuts when required. I’ve used it in every conceivable playing situation, and it always sounds great. The construction of chrome over brass and the BDC attention to detail makes this an exceptional snare drum”
