Rob started playing the drums at the age of 7. Encouraged into learning an instrument by his parents and musical older siblings he decided that the drum kit was the perfect match for his outgoing energy.

Originally inspired by drummers like Mitch Mitchell and John Bonham that he discovered through his dad’s record collection it wasn’t long before Rob was playing music with school friends and got early gig experience playing rock covers in front of parents, friends and class mates.

In 2003, Enter Shikari was born and worked hard writing and performing their own music to audiences up and down the UK. Since then the 4 St. Albans friends have toured the world, playing some of the worlds biggest festivals such as Reading & Leeds, Rock Am Ring and Coachella and released 6 studio albums and many stand alone singles as well as live recordings.

It was in 2021 that Rob formed a relationship with British Drum Co. and the first time to be playing his BDC kit was headlining the Download Pilot festival, signalling the resurgence of live music after the COVID pandemic had kept audiences away for over a year.

Enter Shikari’s music is so varied that Rob has been able to experiment with many different styles of music from Jazz to Drum ’n’ Bass, Gabba to Stadium Rock and the innovative musical style of the band has won them many industry accolades.
